A retractable golf simulator screen comes down to play and rolls up out of the way, so a garage can be a simulator in the evening and still park a car. There are three made for it: the G-TRAK, which clamps to the garage door tracks and hangs in front of the closed door, the Par2Pro Stealth and the HomeCourse ProScreen 180, which hang from the ceiling or a wall. Each is motorized and works from a remote. Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, built and reviewed a G-TRAK garage simulator in 2024, and GSV's partner builder prefers the Par2Pro Stealth. Below: the three screens side by side, sizes and prices, what the garage door, its rails and the opener need, the launch monitors that work in front of a roll-up screen, the Shop Indoor Golf garage packages and which to buy.
Codes first: GSV250 takes $250 off a G-TRAK screen or a G-TRAK garage package at Shop Indoor Golf, more than the 5% code saves on any of them. The HomeCourse ProScreen 180 takes GSV5OFF, 5% off a first order at Shop Indoor Golf. The Par2Pro Stealth goes through Jay: ask in the free consultation below.

The short answer
- One-car garage, or both bays kept for cars: a roll-up screen is the way to keep parking. The car parks where the golfer stands once the screen is up.
- G-TRAK: the simplest install. It clamps to the garage door tracks, so it needs no ceiling or wall mount, and hangs in front of the closed door. Sized by the door: 7 to 14 ft wide screens. Sold by Shop Indoor Golf alone or in a package with a launch monitor, with GSV250.
- Par2Pro Stealth: a custom-fit screen on a motorized roller from the ceiling, in nine sizes, 100 to 187 in wide, or made to size, with Par2Pro laying out the room before it is built. GSV's partner builder prefers it; it goes through Jay.
- HomeCourse ProScreen 180: battery powered, on a ceiling or wall mount, with side arms that widen the picture to 14 ft. At Shop Indoor Golf with GSV5OFF.
- Two-car garage with one bay free: a fixed enclosure in one bay and the car in the other is often simpler. See the garage golf simulator guide.
The three roll-up screens
| Screen | How it hangs | Maker's list price |
|---|---|---|
| G-TRAK | Brackets on the garage door tracks; Wall Mount Kit with no door | $1,999.99 to $2,999.99 |
| Par2Pro Stealth | Motorized roller from the ceiling, laid out by Par2Pro | From $1,895, custom by quote |
| HomeCourse ProScreen 180 | Ceiling mount, Wall Mount Kit or Pro Rack | Priced at Shop Indoor Golf |
From each maker's page: G-TRAK's and HomeCourse's read October 19, 2026, Par2Pro's size prices read October 13, 2026. All three come with a motor and a remote: the G-TRAK and the Stealth plug into a 110 V outlet, and the ProScreen runs on a rechargeable battery. All three are in the GSV Sim Builder, which draws the screen up or down in your garage.
G-TRAK: a screen on the garage door tracks
G-TRAK's brackets "mount into place around your garage door tracks without interfering with the up and down functionality of your garage door", by Shop Indoor Golf's product page. Push the down button on the remote and the screen unrolls in front of the closed door; push the up button and it rolls up under the door rail, out of the way of the car. The screen width follows the door:
| Garage door | Screen width | G-TRAK's list price |
|---|---|---|
| 8 ft | 7 ft | $1,999.99 |
| 9 ft | 8 ft | $2,199.99 |
| 10 ft | 8 ft | $2,399.99 |
| 16 ft | 10 ft | $2,499.99 |
| 16 ft | 12 ft | $2,749.99 |
| 16 ft | 14 ft | $2,999.99 |
G-TRAK's and Shop Indoor Golf's pages, October 19, 2026, at the same prices. A Wall Mount Kit, $199.99 by G-TRAK, hangs it on a wall where there is no garage door.

What the garage needs, by G-TRAK:
- Door height: "The optimal garage door height for this system is 8ft", by its assembly manual. An older 7 ft door works with a smaller screen surface, or with the 76 in vertical tracks swapped for 88 in tracks.
- The rail: made for 96 to 103 in from the floor to the bottom of the garage door rail, on single-roller doors, by G-TRAK's specifications.
- Width: measure the garage track width, outside to outside, and choose the size for it.
- Brackets: marked 24 in from the wall on both tracks, by the manual.
- Power: "110 Volt Grounded Power Supply Only".
- The opener: the manual has you raise the door and stop it just before the screen's top tube to check that the opener arm clears it, and trim the arm bracket if it does not.
- The floor: D-rings tie the bottom of the screen down, with a masonry bit in the box for a concrete floor.

GSV's G-TRAK build. In 2024 Jay built a G-TRAK garage simulator with a Foresight GC3 beside the ball, with an assembly time-lapse, shot testing and the screen going up and down on the remote. His verdict in the video: it might be the best garage golf simulator GSV has built. The full post is the G-TRAK garage golf simulator review.
Shop Indoor Golf garage packages with the G-TRAK
Shop Indoor Golf sells the G-TRAK alone and in two garage packages, each sized by the garage door:
- Garmin R10 Garage Package: a Garmin Approach R10 with its tripod, phone mount and case, the G-TRAK with its remote, a 6 x 10 ft SIGPRO Turf landing pad, a 25 ft HDMI cable and a Garmin trial; from $2,999.99 with the 8 ft door's screen to $3,899.99 with the 14 ft screen.
- Square Golf Garage Package: the Square Golf launch monitor with its swing stick, battery and 3 dotted balls, the G-TRAK with its remote, the same landing pad and HDMI cable, priced by door width on Shop Indoor Golf's page.
Shop Indoor Golf's pages, October 19, 2026. Both list a short-throw projector in places as included and in others as sold separately, so confirm it before ordering. GSV250 takes $250 off either; the 5% code would save less. Every package Shop Indoor Golf sells is in the golf simulator packages guide.

Par2Pro Stealth: a custom roll-up screen from the ceiling
The Par2Pro Stealth Retractable Impact Projection Screen puts Par2Pro's SQ impact screen on a SportScreen motorized roller that hangs from the ceiling. Par2Pro draws a layout of the room for approval before it builds the screen. By Par2Pro's page:
- Sizes: nine standard widths, from a 100 in screen with 96 in of picture (size 8) to a 187 in screen with 183 in of picture (size 16), and custom sizes by quote.
- Height: 107.5 in of projectable height, 111 in from the top of the screen to the bottom; the SportScreen backstop covers up to 126 in.
- Motor: "a new motor and remote" in the base price, on a standard 110 V plug.
- Price: From $1,895 on Par2Pro's page read October 19, 2026, with each size and custom sizes by quote. Free shipping to the US and Canada where it applies, 2 to 4 weeks to build, 4 to 5 for a custom size.
- Warranty and returns: a lifetime replacement program on the SQ screen and a 2-year limited warranty on the SportScreen; listed sizes can be returned within 30 days with a 35% restocking fee, custom sizes cannot.
- Options: retractable blackout side walls, a ceiling panel with baffle, and mounting brackets.

Par2Pro publishes no ceiling height for it, so measure the full 111 in drop plus the roller under your lowest ceiling point before you order. GSV's partner builder prefers the Stealth to the other two, and GSV puts buyers in touch with Par2Pro. There is no GSV code for it: ask Jay in the free consultation.
HomeCourse ProScreen 180
The HomeCourse ProScreen 180 is a motorized screen on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, so it needs no outlet at the ceiling. By HomeCourse:
- Mounting: on the ceiling, a wall or HomeCourse's Pro Rack, at least 6 in from the ceiling and 18 in from the wall, at about 8 1/2 ft from the floor.
- The room: HomeCourse recommends 8 ft 6 in high, 10 ft wide and 10 to 12 ft front to back.
- The picture: side arms widen it to a 14 ft projectable area for a 16:9 picture.
- Speed: up or down from the remote in under thirty seconds.
Shop Indoor Golf sells it with the ceiling mount kit, a charging cable, the remote and a reach pole; its Wall Mount Kit is recommended for ceilings 9 ft or taller. GSV5OFF takes 5% off on a first order.

What to measure in the garage first
- The lowest point over the swing: the garage door rails, the opener and its rail run over the hitting area, and door hardware often takes 4 to 8 in off the height you can swing in. A driver needs about 8 ft 5 in to clear, or 9 ft for headroom.
- The door and its tracks: for a G-TRAK, the door height, the track width outside to outside and the floor to the bottom of the rail.
- The depth: from the screen to the back wall, with the golfer, the swing and the launch monitor in it.
- The car: its length, and room to open its door, if it parks under the rolled-up screen.
- Power: a grounded outlet near the top of the door for the G-TRAK or the Stealth, and one for the projector.
The free GSV Sim Builder takes all of it: add the garage door with its tracks and opener, park one of 13 cars from their makers' figures, and choose the G-TRAK, the Stealth or the ProScreen as the screen. Low garages are covered in the golf simulator for a low ceiling.
The launch monitor in front of a roll-up screen
A roll-up screen puts the screen at the garage door, so the room runs back from it, and the launch monitor decides how deep that has to be:
- Beside the ball: a Square Golf, a Garmin R50, a SkyTrak ST MAX or a Foresight GC3 adds nothing behind the golfer. In the GSV Sim Builder each fits a garage 14 ft 4 in deep and has nothing to watch from 17 ft.
- Behind the ball: a radar such as the Garmin R10 sits 6 to 8 ft behind the ball, so it needs 15 ft 6 in at the least; a FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 needs 16 ft 6 in.
- On the ceiling: an overhead unit leaves the floor clear for the car, but needs 9 ft or more of ceiling over the hitting area, which a door rail often takes away.

More on each: the Square Golf review, the Garmin R10 review and the room size checker, which has the room every launch monitor needs.
The projector, the mat and the floor
A roll-up screen still needs a short-throw projector on the ceiling, mounted where the car and the rising garage door clear it; the golf simulator projector guide covers throw and brightness. A hitting mat and a turf landing pad roll or lift out of the way for the car; both garage packages include a 6 x 10 ft SIGPRO Turf landing pad. What goes on a concrete garage floor is in the golf simulator flooring guide, and how roll-up screens compare with fixed ones in the impact screens guide.
A fixed enclosure instead
In a two-car garage with one bay to spare, a fixed enclosure in that bay keeps the screen tight and the sides covered, with the car parked beside it. Shop Indoor Golf's SIG enclosures take GSV250, and Carl's Place sizes its DIY and PRO enclosures to the garage, with its code sent by email from the Carl's Place discount code page. The ten garage builds GSV has filmed are in the garage golf simulator guide, and every enclosure in the golf simulator enclosure guide.

Which to buy
- The G-TRAK for a garage door between 7 and 16 ft with standard tracks, the quickest install and a package that comes with the launch monitor. GSV250 on all of it.
- The Par2Pro Stealth for a screen sized to the garage, a wider picture or a door the G-TRAK does not fit, through GSV's partner builder.
- The HomeCourse ProScreen 180 where no outlet reaches the ceiling, or for a 14 ft wide picture on its side arms.
- A fixed enclosure when a bay can stay a simulator.
Every GSV code is on the golf simulator discount codes page.

Retractable golf simulator screen questions
Can you park a car in a garage with a golf simulator?
Yes, with a roll-up screen. The G-TRAK, the Par2Pro Stealth and the HomeCourse ProScreen 180 come down to play and roll up out of the way from a remote, so the car parks where the golfer stood. The mat and the turf landing pad lift or roll out of the way too. In a two-car garage, a fixed enclosure in one bay with the car in the other also works.
How does the G-TRAK attach to a garage door?
Its brackets mount around the garage door tracks without stopping the door from opening and closing, so the screen hangs in front of the closed door. G-TRAK calls an 8 ft door optimal; a 7 ft door works with a smaller screen. It is made for 96 to 103 in from the floor to the bottom of the door rail, on single-roller doors, and needs a 110 V grounded outlet.
How much is a G-TRAK retractable screen?
G-TRAK lists it from $1,999.99 for an 8 ft door with a 7 ft wide screen to $2,999.99 for a 16 ft door with a 14 ft wide screen. GSV250 takes $250 off at Shop Indoor Golf.
What size G-TRAK fits a garage door?
It goes by the garage door: an 8 ft door takes the 7 ft wide screen, a 9 or 10 ft door the 8 ft screen, and a 16 ft door a 10, 12 or 14 ft screen. Measure the track width outside to outside.
How much is the Par2Pro Stealth retractable screen?
By Par2Pro, from $1,895, with each size and custom sizes by quote and the motor and remote included. There is no GSV code for it; it goes through Jay in a free consultation.
Which launch monitor works best with a retractable garage screen?
One beside the ball, such as a Square Golf, a Garmin R50, a SkyTrak ST MAX or a Foresight GC3, adds nothing behind the golfer and fits a garage 14 ft 4 in deep in the GSV Sim Builder. A radar behind the ball needs more: 15 ft 6 in for a Garmin R10. Shop Indoor Golf sells the G-TRAK in packages with a Square Golf or a Garmin R10.
Is there a discount code for a retractable golf simulator screen?
Yes. GSV250 takes $250 off a G-TRAK screen or a G-TRAK garage package at Shop Indoor Golf, more than the 5% code saves on any of them. GSV5OFF takes 5% off the HomeCourse ProScreen 180 on a first order at Shop Indoor Golf.
Is there free help planning a garage golf simulator?
Yes. GSV's partner builders, master builders Jay hand-picked, offer a free consultation: they check that the screen, the garage door, the launch monitor and the parking all fit before you buy, and offer package deals, DIY packages and full installation.
