GSPro is golf simulator software for Windows PCs, built around a library of community-made courses and an open connection to more than 30 launch monitors. It is GSV's first pick in the best golf simulator software guide. Here is what GSPro costs, how its courses work and what they cost, the PC it needs in 2026, which launch monitors connect, online play and the Simulator Golf Tour, the practice modes, and how it compares with Home Tee Hero and Infinite Tees. Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, has played GSPro since its first look in 2020 on more than a dozen launch monitors, and his reviews of each version are linked below.
- $250 a yearGSPro's one plan, updates included
- 2,500+Community LiDAR courses, by GSPro
- RTX 3060GSPro's minimum graphics card for 1080p
- Windows onlyWindows 10 or 11, no Mac
GSPro is sold by GSPro, not through GSV. GSV's links and codes are for the launch monitor and the PC that run it.

What GSPro is
GSPro turns the shots from a launch monitor into a round of golf on a Windows PC. It had its official release in October 2021, and moved to version 3 in November 2024 with a new interface, range and course browser. On October 1, 2026, GSPro released Physics 2.0 in a public beta, with new On Course Practice drills. GSPro still labels its software a public beta, even the paid version.
What Jay likes about it: realistic play, a huge course list, online play with friends, and settings for every kind of golfer, from casual mode and boosted shots for kids to full realism with lie penalties. Playing a community-made Bethpage Black in 2025, a thin shot from the rough lost about half its spin, and deep rough went nowhere, just as it should.

How much does GSPro cost?
- $250 a year, plus any tax, with updates for the life of the subscription, by GSPro.
- Lifetime: the lifetime add-on is no longer sold. Lifetime licenses bought before keep working.
- Trial or demo: GSPro lists none. It refunds a purchase within 7 days, less a $15 fee.
- One PC at a time: a license runs on one PC, and GSPro's site has a license reset page for moving to a new one.
- Through Foresight: Foresight sells GSPro as a $250 code, for owners with a Foresight+ Gold plan or an FSX Play or FSX 2020 license.
Some launch monitors need their own paid plan to connect: Uneekor's Pro Package, Rapsodo's Premium Membership for the MLM2PRO, and a paid Gold plan for Bushnell's Launch Pro, for example. GSPro compatible launch monitors has the yearly cost with each unit.
| First year | Cost |
|---|---|
| GSPro alone | $250 |
| GSPro and the Simulator Golf Tour | $330 |
| GSPro and Rapsodo Premium (MLM2PRO) | $449.99 |
| GSPro and Launch Pro Gold | $849 |
GSPro courses: how many, and are they free?
GSPro says it has over 2,500 courses, made by the community from LiDAR survey data with the OPCD course tools. GSPro ships with a driving range; the courses download free from the course server built into GSPro since version 3. Some independent designers sell their courses by subscription or for a one-time fee through their own servers, Jay notes, so a few courses cost extra.
- Finding courses: version 3 added filters by popularity, newest, designer, difficulty, country, real or fictional, and course style, such as historic or links.
- Disk space: courses are about a gigabyte each, sometimes more, so GSPro lets the course folder live on a second drive.
- Making a course: courses are built with the community's OPCD course tools.
GSPro system requirements in 2026
GSPro needs a Windows 10 or 11 PC with a dedicated graphics card. Its own minimum and recommended specs:
| Level | Graphics card | Memory |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum, 1080p | RTX 3060 | 16GB |
| Recommended, 1080p | RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 3070 | 16GB |
| Recommended, 4K | RTX 3080 or better | 32GB |
GSPro's knowledge base adds newer cards: the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti for 1080p at Ultra, and the RTX 5070, 5070 Ti, 5080 and 5090 for 4K at Ultra, with AMD Radeon cards on each list too. It also needs 10 to 20GB free for GSPro itself, a steady internet connection, and Bluetooth or Ethernet for the launch monitor.
Real numbers: in SurfThing's tests at Ultra, an RTX 5060 averaged 105 frames a second at 1080p and 51 in 4K, and an RTX 5070 85 in 4K. See the golf simulator PC benchmarks for every card, do you need a gaming PC for GSPro, and the best computer for a golf simulator.
Which launch monitors work with GSPro?
GSPro's official list includes units from Uneekor, FlightScope, Foresight, Bushnell, Full Swing, Garmin, Rapsodo, ProTee, Square Golf, GolfJoy, OpenLaunch and Bluetees, among others. GSPro says other devices, such as SkyTrak, are not officially supported. Most connect through GSPro Connect over Bluetooth, USB or the network, and GSPro publishes an open API for other makers.
What each one needs, its yearly cost with GSPro and how it connects are on GSPro compatible launch monitors. The launch monitor finder filters by GSPro, budget and room.
Playing online, and the Simulator Golf Tour
- Online match: one golfer creates a room with the course and settings, and friends join it from their own simulators, peer to peer. Up to 8 players can play together, locally or online.
- Formats: stroke play, scramble, Stableford, match play, best ball and alternate shot, by GSPro.
- Simulator Golf Tour (SGT): the leagues and tournaments for GSPro, with SGT leagues pulled into GSPro and a live leaderboard during rounds since version 3. SGT membership is $80 a year, and some events are free. GSPro itself has no built-in leagues.
Practice, putting and game modes
- Range: adjustable width and target greens, random distances, and Dynamic Holes for building practice holes such as island greens.
- Playground and challenges: a practice area with many spots, distance and putting challenges, the Ultimate Long Drive and a 60 shot skills test, plus Operation 36 for new golfers.
- On Course Practice: play shots from anywhere on a hole, with new drills from October 2026 to play out a hole, approach and chip, putt and hit targets.
- Putting: settings for putting difficulty, gimme circles, auto concede and a separate aim offset just for putting. Units that cannot read putts use auto putt or gimmes.
Putting can feel different from one program to the next, Jay notes, because the green speeds are set differently.
GSPro vs Home Tee Hero and Infinite Tees
| Runs on | Price | |
|---|---|---|
| GSPro | Windows gaming PC | $250 a year |
| Home Tee Hero (Garmin) | Phone, tablet or the R50's screen | Garmin Golf, $99.99 a year |
| Infinite Tees | Windows gaming PC | $19.99 a month or $199 a year |
- Home Tee Hero: 43,000+ courses with no PC needed, but only for Garmin's own R10 and R50. Both Garmin units also connect to GSPro. See the Garmin golf simulator guide.
- Infinite Tees: newer, with its own physics, a free trial and fewer launch monitors so far. See Infinite Tees.
What you need to play GSPro
- A launch monitor on GSPro's list, with its own plan if it needs one.
- A Windows PC that meets the specs above, with Bluetooth or a network port for the launch monitor.
- A screen: a TV or monitor works, or a projector and impact screen for a full simulator. A net works too, with the picture on a monitor beside it.
- GSPro, bought from GSPro, and GSPro Connect set to the launch monitor.
The free golf simulator tools size the room, the projector and the whole budget.
