TruGolf makes launch monitors, golf simulators and E6, the simulator software. Its home lineup in 2026 is the LaunchBox, a camera unit that sits on the floor, the APOGEE, which hangs from the ceiling, and MultiSport ARCADE, an add-on for other sports. On top of those it sells complete simulators, the Starter 10 and the TruGolf MAX. Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, has filmed TruGolf since 2021: the APOGEE from its first look at the 2023 PGA Show, the LaunchBox at its launch and its relaunch, E6 APEX from its first look at the 2023 PGA Show, and both versions of MultiSport. This page puts every TruGolf product, its price and what GSV found in one place.
The LaunchBox is at Shop Indoor Golf, where GSV5OFF takes 5% off a first order: $2,999 becomes $2,849.05. GSV250 takes $250 off a LaunchBox simulator package there. For the APOGEE and MultiSport, email Jay for pricing and packages.

The short answer
- LaunchBox, $2,999: a camera launch monitor on the floor, sold with E6 CONNECT Home, which TruGolf calls owned software with no yearly fee. It reads the ball with no marked balls.
- APOGEE, $9,000 list: a ceiling unit 9 to 10 ft up that reads ball data and most club data with no marked balls or club stickers, and switches between right and left-handed golfers with nothing moved.
- E6 Golf 2026: TruGolf's software, $150 to $450 a year, on a Windows PC. Both TruGolf launch monitors run it, and so do launch monitors from other makers.
- MultiSport ARCADE, $5,500 list: a separate ceiling camera for 14 other sports games, alongside any launch monitor.
- GSPro: GSPro's official list names no TruGolf launch monitor. A TruGolf simulator is an E6 simulator.

TruGolf LaunchBox

The LaunchBox is TruGolf's portable launch monitor. By TruGolf's manual:
- How it reads: high-speed cameras. It measures ball speed, launch angle, back spin, side spin and side angle, and calculates carry, total distance, offline, roll and the flight.
- Where it sits: on the floor across from the golfer, facing the ball, with the ball about 17.5 in from its front, in a ready zone 4 x 8 in. A tee should be no higher than 2.75 in.
- The ball: a clean white ball with a logo or a line, turned toward the unit. No marked balls.
- Both hands: right and left-handed golfers, by TruGolf.
- Size: 9.53 x 7 x 5 in, 2.7 lb, with WiFi or Ethernet to a Windows PC or an iPhone or iPad.
- Indoors and out: made for indoors, and usable on range mats outdoors.
In the box is E6 CONNECT Home, 27 courses that TruGolf calls owned software with no yearly subscription. The $3,499 version adds 3 premium courses, and Shop Indoor Golf lists Pebble Beach, St Andrews and Oakmont as the three. E6 Golf 2026 is the paid step up.
What Jay found. He showed the LaunchBox at its first launch in October 2024. TruGolf pulled it over what Jay described as a licensing issue, and in August 2025 he filmed its relaunch, now with E6 APEX:
- It was easy to set up: the hitting area shows on the unit's own screen, and no marked balls are needed.
- Club path, face angle and attack angle were in beta, with no club stickers. Jay would like more club figures. TruGolf's manual lists only the ball figures as measured.
- Putting in E6 APEX performed decently, though the launch direction was not shown in the APEX display at the time.
What comes in the box and how E6 is sold with it is in GSV's TruGolf LaunchBox and E6 APEX.
TruGolf APOGEE

The APOGEE is TruGolf's ceiling launch monitor. TruGolf says it measures club and ball data with no marked clubs and no special balls:
- Ball: ball speed, back spin, side spin, vertical launch angle and horizontal launch direction.
- Club: club head speed, attack angle, face angle and club path. Dynamic loft and dynamic lie need club head stickers.
- Mounting: 9 to 10 ft up, by TruGolf, which recommends a room 15 ft wide for it. Shop Indoor Golf places it 21 to 25 in ahead of the tee, by ceiling height.
- Both hands: from the ceiling it switches between right and left-handed golfers with nothing moved.
- Ball placement: a laser shows where to set the ball and goes out once the ball is in a good spot.
- Impact video: TruGolf's Point-of-Impact view replays the club through the ball in slow motion.
- Size: 38 in wide, 5 1/2 in tall and 8 in deep, about 22 lb.
TruGolf sells it with E6 software, and its list price is $9,000.
What Jay found. He first saw the APOGEE at the 2023 PGA Show and used it as his TruGolf unit for E6 APEX from 2023 to 2024:
- 2023, first look: range practice and on-course play in an early build of the new APEX software.
- July 2024: firmware updates made the ball lock in faster, and the hitting area was bigger than he first thought.
- November 2024: the putting view showed the putter's impact video. Nine holes at Teeth of the Dog in 4K went two under.
For the APOGEE's price and packages, email Jay.
E6 software

Every TruGolf launch monitor is sold with E6 software, by TruGolf.
- E6 Golf 2026, the software sold as E6 APEX before it: 15,000+ courses on a Windows PC. Improve is $150 a year, Play $300 and Enjoy $450, with course play, Bag Mapping, Club Fitting and Skills Challenges split between them.
- E6 CONNECT, the earlier version: on a Windows PC and on iOS, with the 27 owned courses of the Home license.
TruGolf counts 19 launch monitors that run E6 Golf 2026, among them Garmin, FlightScope, Rapsodo, Square Golf and GolfJoy as well as its own. The E6 golf simulator software guide has the plans, the courses, the PC it needs and every E6 test GSV has filmed.
MultiSport ARCADE
MultiSport ARCADE is a ceiling camera for other sports, separate from the launch monitor. By TruGolf:
- How it works: it reads speed and direction with two cameras, and works alongside a launch monitor from any brand.
- The games: 14, including soccer, hockey, baseball, bowling, football, basketball, foot golf, disc golf, cornhole, dodgeball and two light-gun shooting games, for up to 8 players.
- The room: a ceiling of at least 8 ft. The balls and gear for each sport are sold separately.
- Price: $5,500 list.
Jay reviewed the first MultiSport ARCADE in March 2025 and MultiSport 2.0 in November 2025, which he found smaller and easier to set up, with new games. He ran 2.0 in his Carl's Place PRO with an Epson projector and a TouchscreenGuru 43 in display.
Complete TruGolf simulators
- Starter 10: an enclosure with a TruGolf launch monitor, from $6,995 with the LaunchBox or $10,995 with the APOGEE, by TruGolf.
- TruGolf MAX: a 15 ft edge-to-edge screen that works with any TruGolf launch monitor. TruGolf's store sells it with the APOGEE from $18,000, $24,000 with a PC or $29,000 in 4K.
- RANGE: a multi-player indoor driving range for businesses, previewed at the 2026 PGA Show with TruGolf's AI Coach and sold by consultation.
Shop Indoor Golf also sells LaunchBox simulator packages, where GSV250 takes $250 off. Other enclosures and packages are in golf simulator packages and golf simulator enclosures.
GSPro and other software
GSPro's list of officially supported launch monitors, read October 20, 2026, names no TruGolf unit, and TruGolf sells both of its launch monitors with E6. Plan a TruGolf simulator around E6. For GSPro, the GSPro compatible launch monitors page has every unit and how it connects.
Which TruGolf fits
- You should buy the LaunchBox if you want a camera unit on the floor for the simulator and the range, 27 courses with no yearly fee to start, and E6 CONNECT on a PC, an iPhone or an iPad.
- You should buy the APOGEE if you want club data from the ceiling with no stickers, right and left-handed golfers with nothing moved, and the impact video, in a room 9 to 10 ft high.
- You should buy MultiSport ARCADE if the simulator is for the whole family and you want soccer, hockey, bowling and more beside golf, with any launch monitor.
- You should look at a Starter 10 or a MAX if you want the whole TruGolf simulator from one place.
- You should look elsewhere if GSPro is a must. The best golf launch monitors and the launch monitor finder cover the rest.
Your room
The APOGEE goes 9 to 10 ft up, a little ahead of the tee, so it needs that ceiling height. The LaunchBox sits on the floor beside the hitting area and adds no depth to the room. The GSV Sim Builder places the APOGEE in your room with the screen, the mat and the golfer, and the room size calculator checks the room for any launch monitor.
