What the video covers
Most of the video is the review itself, played as 9 holes on E6 CONNECT with the LaunchBox, and it ends with Jay's final thoughts.
About the LaunchBox, from TruGolf:
- What it is: a portable launch monitor with its own screen, Wi-Fi, battery and swing camera built in.
- How it measures: dual high-speed cameras read the ball data and show the results right away. It works with balls that have no markings.
- Where it works: TruGolf built it for indoor use, and it can also be used on range mats outdoors.
- On the unit: an onboard display, a Wi-Fi connection, instant shot detection and LED status lights.
- Software: at the time of the video, the LaunchBox came with E6 CONNECT for PC and iOS. It could also be paired with E6 APEX, which adds course play, more driving ranges, club fitting, bag mapping and skills challenges.
Where this stands now
This video is from 2024. The LaunchBox's current price and data, with the rest of TruGolf's lineup, are in the TruGolf golf simulator guide, and what E6 CONNECT and E6 APEX include and cost now is in the E6 golf simulator software guide.
The GSV Sim Builder places a launch monitor in your room at its real distance, with the screen, the mat and the golfer, and checks the fit.
