What the price includes, and what it adds

The P7 and P7 Plus: PuttView's shop includes shipping in the price, along with import and customs duties where they apply, and ships within 4 weeks of full payment. They are self-assembly.
The installed systems (Professional, Moving and Custom): the price includes the green and installation. VAT, travel and shipment are extra.
The yearly software fee: the first year is included. From year two, PuttView's shop lists $180 a year for the P7 and $1,495 for the P7 Plus. Foresight lists the same $1,495 a year from year two for its SIM IN A BOX PuttView Edition. PuttView does not publish the fee for its other systems, so ask for it with the quote.
Tariffs: PuttView is based in Germany, and its shop lists temporary tariff surcharges of 5% and 10% for import into the US. Ask how they apply to an order.
The room: PuttView lists a minimum ceiling for each green, measured from the green's surface, because the projector and camera hang above it.

PuttView P7 vs P7 Plus

The P7 and P7 Plus are the same 10 ft contoured green with a tower that holds the projector and the ball tracking camera. The difference is the control and the software:

PuttView with a golf simulator

PuttView works with Foresight Sports: in FSX Play, the simulator hands the putt to PuttView, which projects the same putt onto its real green and sends the number of putts back to the round. Jay has this running at home: in September 2026 he connected his own Foresight simulator and FSX Play to his PuttView green.

PuttView S10: a green for a Foresight SIM IN A BOX 13 ft enclosure, from $19,980, with up to 6 real cups, a stimp of 10 to 12 and a 10 ft ceiling. The Foresight simulator is not included.
Sim Custom: a bigger simulator green, from $27,980.
An existing PuttView: connecting one to FSX Play is $3,500.
Foresight SIM IN A BOX PuttView Edition: the whole simulator with the PuttView green, from $42,499 MSRP with a GCQuad, $45,499 with a QuadMAX and $46,949 with a Falcon. Foresight includes the first year of PuttView software and charges $1,495 a year from year two. It needs a 10 ft ceiling and professional installation.

The putting simulator for home guide compares PuttView with the ExPutt and with launch monitors that putt, which cost far less and suit a smaller room.

The free PuttView app

PuttView's iPhone app, shown at the 2026 PGA Show, reads real greens with the LiDAR scanner in an iPhone 12 Pro or later and draws the contours and the line over the camera picture. PuttView says it is not a simulator: it is for real greens, indoors or out. The basic app is free; PuttView Pro is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year on the US App Store. GSV covered the PGA Show reveal in PuttView dropped something huge at the 2026 PGA Show.

Is PuttView worth the cost?

PuttView is a real, contoured green with real cups, so the break and the speed are real, and the projection shows the line and the pace on top of it. That makes it a training tool as much as a game. Jay has had a P7 Plus at home since 2020: the first look shows the assembly and the main features, the drills video shows how he practices with it, and a 2024 software update added a putting test with a shot chart and statistics. As Jay put it in the first look, putting coaches say the putts you have to make are inside 10 ft, and that is the range the P7 green focuses on.

Worth it for: a golfer who wants to practice putting on a real slope every day, a coach or a club, and a high-end simulator room with space for a green.
Not the fit for: putting inside a launch monitor simulator on a budget. A launch monitor that putts on a flat mat, or the ExPutt, costs a fraction of a P7. The putting simulator guide covers those.
Running costs: budget for the yearly software after year one, $180 or $1,495 for the home greens.
