GolfIN IDRA Pro: First Look at the 2026 PGA Show, and the IDRA II Today

By Jay Lasco 2026 PGA SHOW

The GolfIN IDRA Pro is GolfIN's next overhead launch monitor, shown at the 2026 PGA Show: a camera unit above the golfer that measures spin, angle of attack and club data with no stickers on the club, aimed at golf professionals, club fitters and advanced simulator golfers. Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, filmed it at GolfIN's booth. Below: what GolfIN showed, what the IDRA Pro adds, the IDRA II that GolfIN sells today, the room and computer they need, and how to get GSV's pricing.

What GolfIN showed at the 2026 PGA Show

  • Fully measured data. GolfIN's pitch for the IDRA Pro is spin, angle of attack and club data that are all measured, not estimated, with nothing stuck to the club.
  • Built for teaching and fitting. Angle of attack and full club data are the numbers a coach or fitter works from, which is the audience GolfIN named for it.
  • Overhead, like the IDRA II. It mounts above the hitting area, so nothing sits on the floor beside the ball.
  • Still a prototype. GolfIN showed it as a prototype. On October 21, 2026, GolfIN's own launch monitor page listed only the IDRA II, with no IDRA Pro price or date.

The IDRA II lists club data, but not angle of attack, which is the main number the IDRA Pro adds. It comes with a calibration board and the mounting plate and hardware.

The room and the computer

  • Ceiling: the IDRA II mounts 99 to 120 in above the floor, so 8 ft 3 in to 10 ft, and most golfers want about 9 ft of ceiling to swing a driver under it.
  • Computer for GSPro: Shop Indoor Golf lists an Intel i7 10th generation with 16 logical processors at the least, an Nvidia RTX 20 series card at the least with an RTX 40 series recommended, 32 GB of memory, 512 GB of storage and two USB 3.0 ports. GolfIN says AMD processors and graphics cards are not supported.
  • Computer for E6 Connect: the same processor, an RTX 20 series card with an RTX 30 series recommended, and 16 GB of memory.

The best computer for a golf simulator guide has builds that meet both.

The IDRA II in a SimBooth, and in GSV's garage

GolfIN sells the IDRA II on its own and inside its SimBooth enclosures, and Shop Indoor Golf sells it in SIG10 and SIG12 packages, where GSV250 takes $250 off a package. GSV built a SimBooth 2 with an IDRA II in a garage in 2025: the frame, the walls, the pre-wired projector beam and the IDRA II running GSPro are all in the SimBooth 2 build.

GSV pricing on GolfIN

GolfIN pricing for GSV viewers goes through Jay. Email Jay before you order, and he connects you with GolfIN for special pricing and discounts on the IDRA II, the SimBooth and the IDRA Pro when it is out.

  • You should look at the IDRA II if you want an overhead camera with ball and club data for GSPro or E6 Connect, with nothing on the floor.
  • You should wait for the IDRA Pro if angle of attack and fully measured club data matter, for teaching or fitting.
  • You should compare other overhead units first if the budget is under $6,000: the best golf simulators guide sets GSV's tested picks side by side.
