What the video covers
The video is Jay's first look at GameDay. Its description covers GameDay and the Uneekor EYE XO2 as Uneekor described them at the time:
- Graphics and courses: courses in 4K resolution, game modes and practice facilities. Uneekor noted that two monitors were required.
- Round Play and multiplayer: single-player Round Play for local play, multiplayer modes such as Scramble, Foursome and Four Ball, and real-time online matches with golfers around the world, including alternate shot.
- Mini games: Wedge Challenge, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin, for friendly competition or focused practice.
- On-Course Practice Mode: drop a ball anywhere on a course to recreate a real situation, from bunker shots to pressure putts.
On the EYE XO2, the description lists three photometric cameras and a hitting area Uneekor put at 300% bigger than the EYE XO's, with trouble mat compatibility to simulate any lie. Uneekor says its Dimple Optix captures the dimples of any golf ball, so golfers can play the ball they already use, and that Club Optix shows what happened at impact.
Where this stands now
This video is from 2025. GameDay's current courses, modes and requirements are in the Uneekor GameDay guide, and Uneekor's launch monitors are in the Uneekor golf simulator guide.
The GSV Sim Builder places a launch monitor in your room at its real distance, with the screen, the mat and the golfer, and checks the fit.
