The full guide: Trackman golf simulator guide
In this January 2025 video, Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, plays Round 2 of the Trackman NEXT Golf Tour, competing with the pros. It was a tough round for him, with some funny moments along the way, and he still finished in the top half of the field.

What the video covers
The video follows Jay through his Round 2 of the NEXT Golf Tour, played on Trackman. He says plainly that he was not on his game or as focused as he needed to be, and that it shows. He calls the tour a lot of fun and points to the technology it uses to keep play fair. He takes the result as it came: a finish in the top half of the field, and better luck next time.
How the NEXT Golf Tour worked at the time of the video, from the description:
- Who it is for: golfers chasing pro golf dreams, playing the same courses anyone can play at a Trackman-powered indoor golf center.
- Format: stroke play, with men and women competing straight up from different tee boxes.
- Women's bonus: the top five female finishers each round share the ANNIKA Bonus.
- Recording rounds: players record with the NEXT Recorder app, which uploads to a live leaderboard where followers see a split-screen view of every shot on every hole in near real time.
- Side games: Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive challenges during the round.
Where this stands now
This video is from 2025. Trackman's launch monitors and software for a home simulator are in the Trackman golf simulator guide.
The GSV Sim Builder places a launch monitor in your room at its real distance, with the screen, the mat and the golfer, and checks the fit.
