What the video covers
The video is a driver session on the EYE XR, played in GameDay, with the focus on the driver numbers it reports. Its description sets out the EYE XR as Uneekor described it at the time:
- Placement: rear overhead, mounted out of the way of errant shots.
- Cameras: two, with infrared, high-speed tracking.
- Hitting zone: 13.7 in wide by 11.8 in long.
- Setup: a single cable carries both power and data. A PC is required, and it works with third-party software.
- Balls and mats: it reads any ball. Uneekor listed it as not compatible with a trouble mat.
- Data: 19 data points, with club data included.
The ball data covers ball speed, back spin, side spin, spin axis, launch angle, side angle, side total, angle of descent, flight time, apex, distance to apex, ball flight type, carry, run and total distance. The club data covers club speed, smash factor, club path and face angle. Uneekor notes that the EYE XR calculates face angle with its own formula from the ball and club data, so no club stickers are needed.
Where this stands now
This video is from 2025. Uneekor's current launch monitors and software are in the Uneekor golf simulator guide, and current Uneekor pricing is on the Uneekor discount code page.
The GSV Sim Builder places a launch monitor in your room at its real distance, with the screen, the mat and the golfer, and checks the fit.
