I Tried to BEAT a DP World Tour Pro’s CTP on a Trackman Golf Simulator!

In this Trackman Golf Simulator Challenge, entrants will have 3 shots to land as close as possible to the pin on the 17th hole on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in either a Trackman simulator or at Trackman Range. Each entrant’s best shot will compete against the best shot from the DP World Tour Championship players on the same hole during round 2, held on Friday November 14, 2025.

The Trackman Golf Simulator closest to the pin (CTP) competition starts on October 31, 2025 at 12:00 AM Central European Time and ends on November 13, 2025 at 12:00 PM Central European Time.

The pin on hole 17 on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates will be placed in a left-center position at approximately 178 meters / 195 yards, which is expected to closely reflect the real-world tournament placement on November 14. The pin placement might differ slightly between Trackman simulators and Trackman Range due to scheduling and course setup constraints.

On both leaderboards, leaderboard rankings will be based solely on measured distance to the hole, regardless of pin placement. Entrants must be signed in with their Trackman account in order to participate and be registered on the leaderboard.

If you do not already have an account, please download the Trackman Golf app and create a profile before going to your local Trackman simulator or Trackman Range. If an entrant has not created a Trackman account before going to the Trackman simulator or Trackman Range, they will be prompted to create a Trackman account.

Once entrants have created a Trackman account and registered either through the tournament website or the Trackman Golf app, they are eligible to play.

In a Trackman simulator or at Trackman Range, entrants should sign in (using the Trackman Golf app and QR code or entering account credentials manually), then select Competitions, then “Take on the Tour: DP World Tour Fan Challenge.”

There is no fee to enter. Entry into the competition automatically signs you up to receive marketing communications from DP World Tour and Ryder Cup Europe via email.

If two or more entrants are listed on the leaderboard with the same distance to pin, please note that the entrants’ rankings are based on a more precise measurement than what is displayed on the leaderboard.

Entrants are not eligible for prizes unless they are signed in with a Trackman account. All prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

There are four categories of prizes:

Hole-in-One prize: All entrants who make a Hole in One are awarded 4 General Admission tickets to a select DP World Tour event and a signed pin flag from a European Swing winner. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the prize.

Lucky draw prize: Any entrant whose best shot finishes closer to the hole than the best shot by a DP World Tour Championship player will be entered into a drawing to win a spot in a DP World Tour Pro Am event and 2 Hospitality tickets for 2 tournament days at the same event, including travel costs up to $1500 and accommodation.

Best facility prize: The Trackman facility that registers the most participating players is awarded 2 Hospitality tickets for 1 tournament day to a select DP World Tour event, including travel costs up to $1500 and accommodation.

Prize to facilities with more than 50 participants: All Trackman facilities that register more than 50 participating players are awarded 2 General Admission tickets to a select DP World Tour event. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the prize.

Winner selection process for lucky draw prize:

Any entrant whose best shot finishes closer to the hole than the best shot by a DP World Tour Championship player will be entered into the drawing.

If no entrant’s shot is closer to the hole than that of the best-performing DP World Tour Championship player, the drawing will instead be open to all entrants who successfully land on the green.

If one or multiple DP World Tour Championship players make a Hole in One, only entrants who made a Hole in One will be entered into the drawing. If no entrant made a Hole in One, the drawing will instead be open to all entrants who successfully land on the green.

Max 1 type of prize.

Winners will be contacted by DP World Tour via email to receive their prize, once all results have been processed by Trackman. Please allow some time from the competition ends until the winners have been determined.
