The full guide: Trackman golf simulator guide

In this May 2025 video, Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, demonstrates the Trackman TPS 10.1 update for AI Motion Analysis. He goes over the new calibration features, shows Trackman's new USB swing cameras in action, and tests the Shot Analysis features as the system analyzes swings in real time.

What the video covers

The TPS 10.1 update works with Trackman's new USB swing cameras, which record at 120fps and feed the updated AI Motion Analysis software to add swing data. Jay goes over the new calibration features, then runs swings through Shot Analysis. The details as the description gives them at the time of the video:

• New in AI Motion Analysis V2: club shaft dynamic, static club shaft, club head trail, club shaft trail and elbow plane.
• Where it lives: AI Motion Analysis is part of the Shot Analysis mode in TPS and works with both Trackman 4 and Trackman iO. It looks at static and dynamic aspects of the body through the whole swing.
• Video needs: real-time analysis needs a video feed of at least 60fps, and the feature can also process existing videos afterward. Trackman advises good color contrast between the background and the player.
• The USB camera kit: each camera came with two cables, one of them used only for extensions, and an adapter with four screws. A tripod or wall mount was not included.
• More than one camera: several cameras can run on one computer, with each on its own USB 3.1 hub. Three or more cameras need a PCIe card in the PC.
• PC for the USB cameras: Windows 10 or 11, an Intel i7 or higher, 32GB of RAM or more, 1TB of SSD storage and an Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti graphics card with 12GB of memory.
• Minimum PC for AI Motion Analysis: 16GB of RAM, 7.5GB of free storage and an Nvidia GPU with at least 6GB of VRAM. Without a GPU, it can run on the CPU, at about 15 seconds per shot.
