In this May 2021 video, Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, sets up a Foresight Sports GCQuad in a simple garage simulator and runs it with Foresight's FSX Pro and FSX Mobile software, both new at the time. He hits shots in each, goes through the shot data and tries putting in FSX Mobile.

What the video covers

This is a Garage Golf episode. Its goal is to show that a top-level launch monitor like the GCQuad can go into a simple, low-cost garage simulator build and be used right away: set it down and start hitting.

• FSX Pro: Jay gives an overview of FSX Pro from a screen recording, hits his first shot in it and walks through the shot data.
• FSX Mobile: he then pairs the GCQuad with FSX Mobile, hits a first shot and tries putting.

The video's description adds Foresight's notes on the unit: a portable launch monitor using high-speed cameras and infrared object tracking, with what Foresight calls Quadrascopic technology, set upright on a level surface about 22 in from the hitting area and raised to the height of the mat, with a kickstand for uneven ground.

The ball data the GCQuad measures, from the video's description: ball speed, horizontal and vertical launch angle, spin, side spin and carry. The description also lists club data: club head speed, smash factor, angle of attack, club path, loft at impact, lie and face angle at impact, and impact location on the face.
