The Bushnell Launch Pro is the Foresight GC3's camera system sold by Bushnell at a lower price, with the software and club data in yearly plans. That makes the subscription the question most buyers ask about. For purchases from September 18, 2026, by Foresight's dealers, new Launch Pro units come with Foresight+, the same plans as Foresight's own launch monitors: Free, Silver and Gold, plus Course Pass for courses. Here is what each plan unlocks and costs, what works with no plan, what GSPro needs, the trial, what the first year costs, and how the Launch Pro compares with the GC3 and the Launch Pro Indoor. Does the Bushnell Launch Pro need a subscription?
Not to work. With Foresight+ Free the Launch Pro gives ball data and basic views on its screen, in the Foresight app and in Foresight's software, with 10 sessions of history. A plan is needed for the rest: club data, unlimited history, the practice tools, courses and third-party software such as GSPro.
The Launch Pro has to check in online at least once every 45 days, by Bushnell. Past that, it stops connecting to apps and software, though it keeps working on its own screen until it reconnects.

The older plan: some of Bushnell's and Foresight's pages still show the Launch Pro plan from before Foresight+: Silver at $199 and Gold at $499, with a 14-day trial and FSX Play courses. Launch Pro units bought before September 18, 2026 keep the software they came with, by Foresight's dealers. Check which plan applies when registering the unit.
Club data on the Launch Pro
The Launch Pro reads club speed, smash factor, club path and angle of attack from one dot sticker on the club, the same as the GC3. On a Launch Pro, club data needs Silver or Gold; on Foresight's own GC3 the Free plan includes it. Club data is no longer sold as a one-time unlock: Bushnell sold it for $1,500 to $1,750 after the 2023 change, and owners who bought it keep it, by Foresight.
GSPro on the Launch Pro
GSPro supports the Launch Pro, and GSPro's own page says every Launch Pro user needs a paid Gold plan: a Gold trial does not count. With GSPro at $250 a year, that is $849 a year in software on top of the unit. Jay connected the GC3, the same hardware, to GSPro over USB, which he found solid and easy, and full simulation needs only ball data. See GSPro compatible launch monitors and the GSPro guide.
The trial, and the first year
New Launch Pro units come with a 30-day trial of Foresight+ and Course Pass, which needs a credit card, by Bushnell. Bushnell's net and premium simulation bundles include a year of Gold.

Bushnell Launch Pro vs Foresight GC3
Jay has said since 2021 that it is the same exact hardware as the GC3: three infrared cameras, which Foresight told him all read the ball, with the top and bottom ones reading the club. Many viewers still email him thinking the two are different inside, and they are not. What differs is how they are sold:
- Price: Launch Pro $2,999.99 by Bushnell; GC3 $6,999 by Foresight.
- Club data: Launch Pro with Silver or Gold; GC3 included, even on the Free plan.
- Warranty: Launch Pro one year by Bushnell; GC3 two years by Foresight.
- Look: the Circle B Edition is black and orange.

Launch Pro vs Launch Pro Indoor (LPi)
The LPi is the same camera technology with no screen and no battery, made for a simulator room, Foresight told Jay at the 2025 PGA Show. Bushnell lists it at $1,999.99, with the older Silver $199 and Gold $499 plans and a 14-day Gold trial on its page. The Launch Pro adds the screen and battery for the range, rated 5 to 7 hours.

- Size and weight: 5 x 6 x 12 in, 5 lb, with a 3 x 2 in touchscreen, IPX7, by Bushnell.
- Hitting area: 7 x 10 in, by Bushnell.
- Connections: Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB-C to a PC.
- In the box: the Launch Pro, USB-C and Ethernet cables, an alignment stick, a power cord and club markers.
- Room: it sits beside the ball, so nothing goes behind the golfer. In the GSV Sim Builder, a room 14 ft wide with a 10 ft ceiling and a 5 ft 9 in golfer works from 14 ft 4 in deep, and from 17 ft with nothing to watch.
