Uneekor AI Report Review: What the New AI Swing Analysis Said After 10 Shots

By Jay Lasco Uneekor EYE XO

Uneekor's AI Report is a new beta feature in VIEW, Uneekor's simulator software: it reads a set of your shots and swing videos together and writes a coaching report, with your strengths, your main problems, their root causes and an action plan. Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, ran it for the first time on video with a Uneekor EYE XO2 on the ceiling, stickered clubs and Uneekor's Swing Optix cameras, after 10 shots with a 9 iron. Here is how it works, what it takes, how long it took and what the report said.

  • 10 shotsRecommended for a report, by Uneekor; up to 130
  • About 5 minTo generate GSV's report from 10 shots
  • 1 a dayOne report every 24 hours in the beta
  • BetaReports may expire when the beta ends, by Uneekor

GSV's code GSV5OFF takes 5% off a first order of a Uneekor at Shop Indoor Golf.

What the Uneekor AI Report is

Uneekor calls the AI Report the successor to its AI Insight feature. It analyzes shot data and swing video together and writes a personal, coaching-style report. Uneekor's own description of what is in it:

  • An overview: the key numbers for your best shots and for the shots that need work.
  • The report: an executive summary, your strengths, the major problems in the club and ball data, their root causes in the swing, and an action plan for your next session.

It sits alongside AI Trainer, Uneekor's swing analysis with the Swing Optix cameras, which scores each swing and points out what moved: the head, the takeaway, the body angles, the path and the face. Uneekor sells AI Trainer as an add-on at $99 a year, and it needs the Swing Optix cameras.

What it takes

  • Club stickers on, by Uneekor. GSV used an EYE XO2 with stickered clubs.
  • The Swing Optix cameras, set up carefully. Uneekor says the stickers and a precise Swing Optix setup are needed for accurate full-swing results.
  • Good light. GSV's first live shot was taken with the swing lights off, and the camera picture showed the difference. GSV uses one light face on and one down the line, and Jay says both are needed.
  • Selectable shots. A shot can show as not selectable for the report. One of GSV's 10 warm-up shots did, and Jay's guess was that the swing missed a data point; Uneekor does not say why. GSV hit live shots in AI Trainer mode, kept the second and used it in its place.
  • The right club picked when starting the session. Uneekor's August 2026 VIEW update extended club-specific analysis to drivers, woods, hybrids, irons and pitching wedges, and switches the analysis off for clubs it does not support.

How to run a report

  1. Hit your shots. Uneekor recommends at least 10, and a report can take up to 130 (13 sessions).
  2. Press the Power U report button at the top right of VIEW, next to the ready sign, and open the AI Report tab.
  3. Select the shots and start the report. It shows as in progress, and you can look through your session meanwhile.
  4. When it says success, open it with the magnifying glass. It opens in a browser, with an overview tab and a report tab. Uneekor also emails the report, so it can be read on a phone.

How long: GSV's report from 10 shots took about 5 minutes. Uneekor says about 10. How often: one report every 24 hours during the beta. Uneekor notes that reports made in the beta may be deleted when the beta period ends.

What GSV's report said

The 10 shots were 9 irons, hit while warming up after a few days without swinging a club, so a few were not the best. The AI Trainer score on a good swing was 86, held down mainly by an inside takeaway, with a slight head drop also flagged, a habit Jay has worked on for years. Scores of 85 and up are a good swing in GSV's experience, and poor swings have scored in the 70s.

  • The overview picked the best shot and the least effective one. The best had a solid address, good shot quality, a good swing plane and good stability, and lost points only for the takeaway. The least effective dropped at address and in the forward swing. Swing videos are kept for 30 days.
  • Strengths: the report called the 9 iron highly repeatable: a 90% straight flight trend, 84.9 mph club speed and a 145 yard carry, which matches Jay's normal 9 iron carry, with a tight spread showing rhythm, stable contact and dependable stock yardage.
  • The main problem: the face arriving too closed and spin lower than ideal, a combination that can start the ball left and hold greens less well even when the pattern looks good. Jay usually spins his 9 iron in the low to mid 8,000s when striking it well, and these warm-up shots were lower.
  • The likely root cause, by the report: a body rotation issue, a lack of hip turn, more than a path problem alone. Jay's verdict: spot on, a flaw he has known about for a long time. The report also flagged the inside takeaway, limited shoulder rotation, flipping at impact, standing a little hunched, and the head dropping a little at the top.
  • The action plan: how to stop flipping the club at impact, and how to move the shoulders to make up for the lack of hip turn, with impact stabilization and shoulder rotation drills to reduce face closure and improve compression.
  • Videos: the surprise. The report embeds instruction videos on the action plan topics, which appear to come from instructors on YouTube such as Scratch Golf Academy and Performance Golf, then lists its references and an appendix.

GSV's take

The report did more than GSV expected. Jay found its diagnosis spot on, and it read like a coach who has worked with you many times: strengths first, then the problem, the cause and the drills, with videos to watch. Two suggestions GSV is passing to Uneekor: let the report be read out loud, so a golfer can listen while hitting shots, and make clear why a shot cannot be selected. Next, GSV wants to run it with other clubs, after a full warm-up, and with 20 shots to see how the timing scales.

Full video transcript

Welcome back to Golf Simulator Videos. Today we're back with another Uneekor Golf Simulator update. Now, in this video, I was using the Uneekor EYE XO2, their ceiling mounted golf launch monitor. I will show you some things inside of here. I do have my clubs that were stickered up during this process so I could get full measured club data. Also, all the ball data, and I'm using the uh Uneekor Swing Optix cameras because that's a big part of this new update that they released. So, there's now an AI swing report. So, we're actually going to run this for the first time together. So, I literally just warmed up. I hit 10 shots. We're going to take a look at those shots together really quick and then run this AI generated report. Kind of show you how long it takes to generate what it looks like when it opens. Um, so you guys can see what this Now, I believe this is still in beta, so you're going to want to report anything. If you notice anything, have any questions or suggestions, you know, make sure that you report them uh to them and they will listen and can improve along the way. So, as always, if you guys are looking to build a Uneekor Golf Simulator setup, make sure you shoot me an email. I put it down pinned to the top of the comments and in the description because I have partners that will, you know, cater to you. They'll build you custom package deals, help you along the way. I will help you along the way. Make sure you're getting what you need and that way it's the best bang for the buck and it's going to work in your space. All right, so I always appreciate working with everybody. Um, let's dive right into the software now and see what this is all about. So, if we walk over here, I'm just going to take my camera down and that way you guys have a full view. Those are the shots that I took. So, this new update, uh, it doesn't require, but it recommends 10 shots. And you can see I left in a couple kind of like fair at best ones in there. You know, a little bit shorter, a little bit longer. I swung pretty hard at one. I think that's this one right here, the 149. Um, let's just look at a couple of these shots. That was actually pretty well struck all around. Um, and I could, you know, look at the side of this. I can look at the groupings. I can look actually the club itself. Um my my swing cameras, the Swing Optix cameras individually. And then I can also go into AI trainer. Now this is what this report I believe is utilizing along with all the other data is that these are swings that are analyzed with this new software maximizing all of the different tracking that you see whether it be the the uh you know golfer's head um the club face um the actual swing path body angles everything and generally it would give you all of these different points whether it be that I took the club away on the inside that's a bad habit of mine I have been working for years to try to get rid of that. Um, or my head may have dropped a little bit, you know, in my swing. All those different things are always analyzed per swing. But now, if you go to this upper kind of right hand side where you see my cursor there next to where it says ready, hit the Power U report button and you will see a new tab called AI report. So, it says right here it says for accurate analysis, we recommend selecting at least 10 shots. All right. So, we are going to select 10 shots. And you know, for some reason, I'm seeing that one is not selectable. I don't know why. Um, that's new. So, let's see if for some reason if I go back into that, is it now selectable? It's just because I think it was in the analysis. So, maybe something to point out to them. Maybe something not to worry about. Okay. So, um, AI report. Oh, no. It is. It's It's for some reason it doesn't like this. So, what we'll do is we'll do a live shot for you guys. So, let's just go ahead and hit a live shot. Um, we'll leave it on this screen. And well, you know what? I'm going to switch it to the AI trainer mode because I'm going to want to make sure it captures everything. Odds are I did something goofy in that shot to where it might have missed a data parameter and it needs everything to do a full uh analysis. I'll actually put my camera up as well just so you guys can see during this shot. All right, so let's go ahead and take a live shot for you guys. Not my best. 137. Whoa, too much talking. I say we just delete that. Which is kind of cool. Oh, you want to know what threw off too is I don't have my swing lights on. So, shows you the difference in the cameras when you don't have your space well lit up. So, I have a light that goes face on and a light that's down the line. And you need both of those. All right. I need to focus on trying to make the same swing that I was in those other ones. So, we get, you know, just similar capture. That's all. So, it's actually analyzing the previous swing. So, we'll let it just finish that. And now, let's go ahead and try to make a swing like those other ones. That That was actually a really good set. That might have been one of the better ones out of Yeah. 86 though. Probably because my inside takeaway. But notice I just made really good contact. Got my spin up. My spin was a little bit low on some of those shots just because I was warming up. But that should be good. We should be good to go. So you guys got to see a live shot in here as well. So let's go ahead and take the camera down and let's go back to the report section and under AI report now we can select 10. So I I learned something myself there where if you're not going to collect all the data like on that particularly uh you know individual swing, it's not going to do this. So it says available 10 are selected. I'm going to go ahead and click it and it's now going to say in progress. So generated reports may be deleted when the beta period ends. So it must be collecting all of these I'm assuming and that way it can actually uh you know learn from everything. That would make sense. Now you can see down here it says after 24 hours you can generate a new report. I'm assuming that they're using uh you know their own server, you know, their own cloud, you know, uh process to where they don't want to bog this thing down and go crazy until they're ready to either expand their server, you know, capacity or kind of limit users all around. So, it's in progress. I'm actually not sure how long this is going to take. If we need to, we'll actually just chop the video and skip ahead and then I can tell you guys how long. Um, or if it's going to be pretty fast here, I'm actually just going to let it flow in the video and you guys can even just skip a few seconds forward if you want. Um, that way you have a real understanding of how long it's going to take. I just I I've been doing uncut videos forever, you know, so it's one of those things where um, you know, I try to make them uncut as possible. You can see down here 1 minute has burnt. And while that processes, you could go back and you could look at things. So, it looks like I needed to probably close that face just a little bit. That had just a little bit of a, you know, right curvature to it. But I was pulling some shots earlier. So, it's actually good to see that I actually got that one um a little more to the right versus those other ones I was pulling just a little bit. Um there's that grouping. There's the club right there. Yeah, just a little bit of an open face. That's all. Just a little bit of an open face. Good strike, though. Um, if we go to the AI trainer on that one, of course, it tells me inside takeaway. Go figure. It likes everything there. I dropped my head just a little more than it likes, but it likes that. I mean, I feel like if you're 85 and above, it's a pretty darn good swing. Um, but trust me, I've had plenty below 85. I think I've even had, you know, some 70s in there, um, where I've just, you know, made made major mistakes and it doesn't like it at all. So, let's go ahead and go back to report. And this is still in progress. So, I am not sure how long this is going to take. Figured that'd be a good opportunity to kind of give you guys a, you know, kind of flow through the whole, you know, view software and kind of show you the, you know, different options and everything. But I think what we're going to end up doing is cutting this video and when it uh is all done, then I'll show you guys the session. So, why don't we go ahead and do that. All right, you guys. So, the report has finished. You can see it says success. Took about 5 minutes. I just wanted to make sure everything was all set. You'll see an extra minute down here at 2354. But yeah, that was a solid 5 minutes. So, now that it says success, I believe I can just hit this magnifying glass. And then what it's going to do is it's actually going to pull up a browser and it gives you an overview and then also report. So, let's just go ahead and go through this really quick. So, it says view AI features. Now, what is this? extended club support, AI report, swing, shot quality, finish. Okay, so it just kind of gives you overview of everything that the AI kind of analyzes. So, this is kind of cool. The overview goes right to the best shot. Says, "Swing videos are kept for 30 days. This was my best shot." You can see I just I have a big inside takeaway. Um, my address was solid. Shot quality was good. Swing plane was good. Stability was good. Look at all the fives. And then my back swing, it just hates my inside takeaway. and says, "What are you doing?" Um, I I think that if I could fix the the inside takeaway, I could get that score well above 90. So, it's good to see that I had a good swing, though. My least effective shot looks like it actually, uh, had to do with the address dropping down and my forward swing. All right. So, um, if you look here, it says, "Your nine iron is already highly repeatable. The 90% straight flight trend, 84.9 mile per hour club speed, and 145 yard carry, which is spot on to my my normal carry. Um, with a tight spread show strong rhythm, stable contact, and dependable stock yardage control. And honestly, that's what I feel. That's why I don't try to change my swing too much. I know it's not perfect. I golf with incredible golfers and coaches, and uh, listen, they know my flaws. I know my flaws, but sometimes you just kind of roll with your swing and don't make, you know, too drastic of changes right away. Now, the spin rate's a little lower than I'd like. Um, and I think that's just a combination of, you know, my path and my my face. Um, you know, basically just being a little bit of weak there. Um, it says it's flying straight often, but the face is arriving too closed and the spin is lower than ideal. that combination can prod produce a left bias start line and reduce the green holding power even when the overall shot pattern looks good. And I don't disagree with that. I think that that's part of just where my swing is right now. And if I can make some adjustments, I think I'm going to have a much more square path and face leading to higher spin rates. That's lower than normal generally, my 8 irons in the 8000s. And you can see that even on my last shot, but I was warming up and uh it was just a little bit lower than normal. It's kind of good to kind of push it to see what it would say. You know, no point in having somebody come in here and just show you 100%, right? I wanted to actually say what the problems are and what the action plan is. Check this out. Says the straight but left bias is likely caused by body rotation issue. Wow, is that spot on. We I mean, I've known that for a long time. Flexibility is my problem. Um rather than a path issue alone. Your closed face and lower spin appear to be lack of hip turn. I mean, this thing is it's like a coach that I've talked to a hundred times talking to me. Um, I just fire my hips poorly. I really do. Um, and that's called sitting in a chair way too much. Um, action plan. How to stop flipping the club at impact. How to move the shoulders in the golf swing to correct the lack of hip turn to improve your nine iron control. Practice an impact stabilization and shoulder rotation drills. These drills are designed to reduce face uh face closure and improve compression. And that is a problem I have right now. So, it says view report. I'm assuming that's going to take us to the next tab. Yes, it is. So, it gives you this long summary. All right, talking about everything. It gives you your strengths. It gives you major problems. All right, so the spin rate is low. And this is where I'm usually at when I'm swinging well is in the low 8,000s or so. Um, you know, mid mid 8000s when I'm striking it really well. And right now, hey, I'll just be flat honest with you. I wasn't warmed up. Uh, haven't swung a golf club in a few days and man, does it show. It's it's cool to see that direct correlation in this data um when I'm just not firing my lower body. Um so it's really cool that just lays it all out to you. Um the only thing that I might suggest to them I think would be cool is an audible of this. So if you just wanted to listen right now so you could just hit this maybe hit some more shots and just listen to it talk to you. I mean all it's doing is is just you know making the text audible. It's nothing crazy. So we'll have to ask them if that's possible. It does go into root causes. It shows the symptoms. It shows the physics cause and then the mechanics cause. Man, that lack of hip turn though is so spot-on. I mean, that is just spoton. Um, it wants me to kind of stand up a little straighter, it looks like, versus being too hunched over. Um, I I'm I'm a proponent of, you know, great spine angles. So, I don't disagree with that. I would look at that. This right here, though, the inside takeaway is I mean, it's definitely an issue. I mean, I have that issue with even my my wedges. lack of shoulder rotation. That's a flexibility thing as well. Um just getting those hips to turn. And that is exactly what happens is is you end up flipping a little bit trying to extend um make it make it work basically versus getting that full rotation and the club just naturally, you know, kind of goes around on path and exits kind of low left is kind of what what it feels like at least or, you know, would look like. Um head dropping. So it says at the top of your swing, be careful not to drop your head. Obviously, it wasn't dropping it that much, but um and then you it gives you an action plan of what to work on. Now, here's what's wild. Uh I did not know this was going to be in here. Check this out. So, it actually finds videos subject. How to stop flipping at impact. Stay tuned. So, how does how cool. Now, I wonder I'm going to have to ask them. So, this is another golfer at impact. It kills compression. It cost you distance. So, it's actually just I think scraping YouTube. Are they all from the same channel? No. Scratch Golf Academy. Unless they partnered with them. But these are embedded videos from various instructors. Yeah, look at Performance Golf. This is This is really cool. So, it's actually going out and finding the instructional video for you and kind of talking alongside of it. That's That's pretty cool. I'm gonna I really have to ask them now. So, it says references. Um, so it actually goes out when it's finding that data online. It actually, uh, it's kind of funny how that moved. I was going to highlight it for you guys, but, um, it sources where it pulled that information from and then it just has an appendix, which is pretty, you know, straightforward stuff. So, um, I'm going to turn my camera back on really quick and I'm honestly really excited. Uh, I have to actually turn it, see here, because I turned it off. I didn't know how long it was going to be. There it goes. Um, while that report generated, but I think 5 minutes for 10 swings is a good estimation. And I'd be interested if I did 20, would it be 10 minutes? So, just prepare yourself. 10 swings, roughly about 5 minutes. But this is definitely more than I expected. This is this is fun. I like it when I look at something for the very first time. I've never seen this before. You guys are seeing it for the first time, too, I hope. So, um, you know, it's just an interesting experience, but I think it's really cool. I'd like to do another ten. I'd like to do different clubs. So, this was with a 9 iron, and I wasn't really warmed up. So, I'd like to see if I can come down here, warm up, go through my normal, you know, process, and then if I hit a bunch of shots, you know, 8,300 RPM or so, a backspin, and I feel really good on them, what are those scores going to be? What's my next point that I need to work on? You know, are there still some outliers with the inside takeaway? All those different things. So, you guys let me know what you think down in the comments. And as always, stay tuned. There'll be a lot more coming soon.
