TouchscreenGuru Ultra-Series Review 2026: The Golf Simulator Touchscreen

The TouchscreenGuru Ultra-Series is the touchscreen in the GSV Studio, and the one Jay Lasco, host of Golf Simulator Videos, has tested in 27 and 43 in: a 4K touch monitor with sealed glass, an anti-fingerprint front and touch that works through nitrile, latex and vinyl gloves. This 2026 guide covers every Ultra-Series size for a golf simulator, with each figure from TouchscreenGuru's own product pages, and what to buy for the desk and for the wall. GSV's code GSV5 gives a saving on every Ultra-Series size at TouchscreenGuru.

The TouchscreenGuru Ultra-Series 27, 32, 43 and 55 in 4K touch monitors

The verdict

Most simulator builds end up with an ordinary consumer monitor beside the tee. The Ultra-Series is built for the job a simulator gives it: a screen that is touched all session, by hands that have just held a club, in a room with lights overhead. Its front is sealed glass rated IP65, with an anti-fingerprint coating, and an anti-glare one on the 27 and 32 in. From 27 to 55 in its touch works with nitrile, latex and vinyl gloves, and every size is 4K.

For the desk, the 27 in is the one to get, and it comes with a desktop stand. For the wall, the 43 in reads from the tee. It is the brightest of the three golf sizes, at 700+ nits, and it needs a wall mount bought separately. The GSV Studio has a 27 in on its PC cabinet and a 43 in on the wall above it. See that setup in your own room, in 3D, in the GSV Sim Builder.

The GSV reviews

27 in: Full HD vs 4K, side by side

Jay sets up the 27 in in both versions TouchscreenGuru makes it: the Ultra-Series 4K and the 27 in Full HD 24/7 model. He goes through the specs and runs simulator software on both to show whether 4K is worth it beside the tee.

43 in: the wall screen

The 43 in is the size Jay recommends for a commercial bay or a big home build, and the one on the GSV Studio's wall for the shot data.

Ultra-Series sizes and specs

The 27, 32, 43 and 55 in are all 3840 x 2160, 16:9, with 10-point projected capacitive touch that works with a finger, a capacitive stylus, and nitrile, latex and vinyl gloves. Each front is sealed glass rated IP65, with an IP40 back. TouchscreenGuru rates the backlight at 50,000 hours, and lists Windows, Linux, Android and OS X, with a driver needed for OS X.

Every size, in photos

27 in Ultra-Series 4K: the desk screen

The size for the desk or a PC cabinet, within reach of the tee, where it runs the simulator software and mirrors the big screen. 500 nits, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and USB-C, a desktop stand in the box and a 3-year warranty.

27 in Full HD 24/7: the same size at 1920 x 1080

TouchscreenGuru's Full HD model, not part of the Ultra-Series, and the one Jay sets beside the 4K model in the video above. 1920 x 1080 at 500 nits, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs, a desktop stand and a 3-year warranty.

32 in Ultra-Series 4K: a bigger desk screen

A bigger picture at the desk, or the wall screen where a 43 in is too big for the wall or the ceiling. 500 nits, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, a desktop stand in the box and a 3-year commercial warranty.

43 in Ultra-Series 4K: the wall screen

The shot data screen on the wall, big enough to read from the tee, and the one on the GSV Studio's wall. 700+ nits and anti-fingerprint, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C, and a 2-year warranty. It weighs 53 lb and needs a VESA 400 x 400 wall mount, which is not included.

55 in Ultra-Series 4K: for a big room

For a lounge, a commercial bay or a big room where the data is read from across the room. 700+ nits and anti-fingerprint, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4, and a 2-year warranty. It weighs 90 lb and takes a VESA 400 x 400 mount, not included.

65 in Ultra-Series 4K: the biggest

The largest Ultra-Series, for a space built around one big screen. 4K at 700+ nits, 58.75 in wide and 125.5 lb, on a VESA 400 x 400 mount that is not included, with a 2-year warranty.

How many screens, and where they go

How many screens, what each one shows, where they go in the room and how high they hang is all in GSV's golf simulator touchscreen guide, with the heights from the GSV Sim Builder.

Four touchscreen setups in the GSV Sim Builder, left to right: a 43 in wall screen over a PC cabinet with a 27 in touchscreen, two 43 in wall screens side by side over the cabinet, two stacked, and a 43 in touchscreen on a floor stand with a 43 in wall screen over it

See the touchscreens in your space in 3D in the GSV Sim Builder

The free GSV Sim Builder opens with the GSV Studio's PC corner: a 27 in on the cabinet and a 43 in on the wall. Put in your room's size, then pick one, two or three screens and the size under Room extras, and it places them clear of the swing, shows how high they hang and says when the wall or the ceiling is too small.

Ultra-Series vs a consumer monitor

A monitor for an office is built to be looked at, not touched all day. In a simulator, the screen is tapped between every shot, by hands that have just held a club, under lights that glare off a glossy screen. The Ultra-Series answers that with sealed glass rated IP65 at the front, an anti-fingerprint coating, an anti-glare one on the 27 and 32 in, and touch that works through nitrile, latex and vinyl gloves. TouchscreenGuru rates it at 500 nits on the 27 and 32 in and 700+ on the 43 and 55 in.

Simulator software

TouchscreenGuru says its golf simulator touchscreens work with any Windows or Mac simulator software that takes touch and a standard video signal. The touch is plug and play over USB. Jay has run it with Trackman, Uneekor and GSPro in the GSV Studio. With more than one screen on the PC, Windows can send the touch to the wrong one, and the fix is in the touchscreen guide.
