GOLF+ is the leading virtual reality golf experience available exclusively on the Meta Quest platform. Featuring more than 30 of the world’s most iconic golf courses – including Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Old Course at St. Andrews, Bethpage Black, Pinehurst #2, and Royal Portrush among may others – GOLF+ is the Official VR Golf Game of the PGA TOUR. The GOLF+ TOUR is the official virtual league within GOLF+. Players choose between one of two “Tours” (Amateur or Pro based on difficulty settings) and then compete in Daily and Weekly tournaments. In 2024, Mastercard came on board as the presenting sponsor of the VR FedExCup Playoffs – GOLF+’s parallel experience of the PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoffs. The two VR TOUR Champions (from Amateur and Pro TOUR) won trips to the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, and Mastercard hosted a running sweepstakes throughout the Playoffs for one player to also win a trip to the 2025 API for them and a guest.
Within the Practice Mode, there are a variety of different areas for players to work on different aspects of their game (Approach, Bunker, Driving, Putting, etc.). There is also an “Analyze” mode for players to see exactly what they’re doing in the swing just like you would see in a launch monitor/simulator.
This is a perfect way for new players to get an understanding of their swing and how the weight of the club attachment may have an impact on their swing analytics compared to their IRL swing.
