More about the Square Golf Launch Monitor

What components are included and their functions?
The Square Golf Launch Monitor package includes the following components:

Launch Monitor: The main device that captures data.
Battery: A replaceable lithium-ion battery that powers the device.
Power Cable (USB A-to-C): For charging the battery.
Club Marker: Attaches to the golf club for measuring swing path and attack angle.
Remote Control: For easy operation of the launch monitor.
Patterned Golf Balls (3 EA): Used to measure spin data accurately.
Welcome Credit Card: Likely contains setup information and support contacts.
Swing Stick & Safety Strap: Used for virtual shots when not hitting an actual golf ball.

How many golf courses come with the software?
Straight out of the box you can choose from 10 golf courses, each meticulously recreated with high-quality 3D graphics. Another 10 are currently being created and will be available soon.

Technical Specifications:

Battery: Replaceable lithium-ion, 3.6V / 6,000mAh
Power Input: DC 5V / 1A
Average Current: 600mA
Network: Bluetooth v4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy)
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 40°C

How do you place the ball and take a shot?
Ball Placement:

Place the ball in the designated hitting zone (15cm x 15cm area) as specified.
The LED will blink blue while searching for the ball and turn green when the ball is ready.

Taking a Shot:

Ensure the ball is placed correctly in the hitting zone.
Once the LED turns green, you can perform the shot.
Minimum ball speed for shot detection is 3.4 mph for regular shots and 1.1 mph for putting.

How do you apply the club marker and what data does it provide?
The club marker should be attached to the golf club 20cm from the floor when the club is upright. This marker enables the monitor to measure:

Club path
Attack angle
Face angle (when using the virtual shot mode)

Even without the club marker, the monitor can measure speed, direction, and spin data of the golf ball.

Using a patterned golf ball and club marker can enhance the accuracy of these measurements. For virtual shots, the data is estimated based on the swing stick’s speed, path, and face angle.

How much is the Square Golf Launch Monitor?
